An adventure in Proverbs - Chapter 3

Here we go, Chapter 3, these are the verses that stuck with me....

27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
    when it is in your power to act.
²⁸ Do not say to your neighbor,
    “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”—
    when you already have it with you.

Good intentions. How often do we think about doing something nice to/for someone and then get busy and forget to do it. If it's me, frequently. I think the difference between being someone who is seen as a person who is an "encourager" and someone who doesn't have that label is oftentimes being intentional. People who are intentional with distributing something good, do it. People who are not very good at being intentional in encouraging, blessing, giving to others (me) don't do it well. Be intentional, don't wait, say what you're going to say before you get busy and it slips your mind.  Right that note, send that email, make that phone call.
